Q. My ADSL light does not come on solid.
A. Verify on the VisionNet modem that the ADSL light is Solid Green. If the
light is NOT on, verify the following:
Check Phone Line connection to the modem. The phone line should connect from
the phone jack to the port labeled “LINE” located on the rear of the unit.
The ADSL light is located on the top of the modem and should flash for
several seconds and then become SOLID Green.
If the ADSL light does not become SOLID GREEN, disconnect the cable from the
Line jack of the modem and insert it into the port labeled “SWAPPER” located
on the rear of the unit. The ADSL light is located on the top of the modem
and should flash for a several seconds and then become SOLID Green.

A. You need to purchase an Ethernet Hub or Switch and connect a cable from
the VisionNet Ethernet port to the Uplink port on your Hub or Switch. If
your Hub/Switch does not support an Uplink port, you must purchase an
Ethernet crossover cable. Connect the crossover cable from the VisionNet
Ethernet port to any port on the Hub/Switch. The LAN light should come ON.
If not, verify your cable or uplink port setting on your hub/switch.
